At Nuestro Bistro, join renowned Chef Orlando Díaz for a hands-on culinary adventure where you’ll prepare a four-course meal featuring signature Peruvian recipes. Learn the history and cultural significance behind each dish as you create classics like tiradito, causa limeña, and Andean gnocchi. Your meal will be expertly paired with three exclusive local Peruvian wines, enhancing the flavors and deepening your appreciation of the cuisine. This intimate cooking class is the perfect experience for food lovers looking to connect with Peru’s culture through its bold, delicious flavors.

Day 3: Welcome to Cusco & Transfer to the Sacred Valley

Upon arrival in Cusco, your private guide will warmly welcome you at the airport, marking the start of your exclusive journey. You’ll travel comfortably to the Sacred Valley, known for its stunning scenery and lower altitude, making it an ideal introduction to the Andes.

Your first stop is a traditional llama and alpaca farm, where you can interact with these iconic animals, learn about their cultural significance, observe traditional weaving techniques, and take memorable photos.

Next, visit the historic town of Pisac and explore its remarkable archaeological site. Your expert guide will share fascinating insights into Inca engineering and history as you walk among ancient terraces and ruins.

Afterward, enjoy a gourmet lunch made with fresh, local ingredients, surrounded by the peaceful beauty of the valley.

By late afternoon, you’ll arrive at your luxury hotel. The evening is yours to relax, whether with a soothing massage, a visit to the spa, or simply enjoying the serene atmosphere.

Day 4: Private Tour of Maras Salt Mines and Moray Circular Terraces (B, L)

Today you’ll explore two of Peru’s most iconic sites: the Maras salt mines, where hundreds of cascading pools create a striking patchwork across the mountainside, still harvested using techniques passed down through generations; and the circular terraces of Moray, a breathtaking display of Inca agricultural ingenuity that continues to hold mysteries.

Explore these gorgeous sites alongside your expert guide. Afterwards, savor a gourmet lunch featuring the fresh, vibrant flavors of the Sacred Valley, highlighting local ingredients and culinary traditions.

Optional: Choose to explore these extraordinary sites on horseback for a serene experience, or opt for an exhilarating ATV ride to add a dash of adventure to your journey.

Day 5: Machu Picchu Private Guided Tour

Today is the awe-inspiring day you’ve been waiting for – your journey to one of the New Seven Wonders of the World: Machu Picchu.

After an early breakfast at your hotel, you’ll be transferred to Ollantaytambo to board your scenic train to Aguas Calientes, also known as Machu Picchu Town. Sit back and enjoy the ride through lush valleys and mist-covered peaks.

Upon arrival, take a short shuttle ride to the entrance of the citadel. Your expert guide will lead you in discovering the history, myths, and legends that surround this ancient Incan masterpiece. Ascend to the stunning panoramic viewpoints, where the ruins are framed by dramatic green mountains.

After the tour, descend back to Aguas Calientes for a delicious lunch. Later in the afternoon, board the return train to Ollantaytambo. Upon arrival at the train station, your private driver will meet you and transfer you back to your hotel in Cusco, where you can relax and reflect on an unforgettable day.

Day 6: Rainbow Mountain & the Red Valley (B, L)

Rise early for a scenic drive toward Vinicunca, famously known as Rainbow Mountain. This breathtaking natural wonder showcases millions of years of sedimentary deposits, with erosion revealing vivid stripes of red, gold, turquoise, and lavender.

Accompanied by your guide, begin the short but challenging hike, made difficult by the high altitude. Take your time as you ascend, pausing to soak in the dramatic Andean landscape. At the summit, enjoy panoramic views of Rainbow Mountain’s colorful ridges stretching across the horizon.

Continue your journey to the nearby Red Valley, where the landscape is painted in deep crimson tones, offering yet another display of Peru’s striking natural beauty.

After your exploration, enjoy a packed box lunch in this unforgettable setting before returning to your hotel in Cusco for a relaxing afternoon at leisure.

Day 7: Welcome to Puno! Scenic Train Journey to Lake Titicaca (B, L)

In the morning you will be picked up and taken to the train station to begin your  breathtaking train journey from Cusco to Puno, gateway to the legendary Lake Titicaca. Travel in comfort across the Peruvian highlands and the vast Altiplano on this full-day experience.

Along the way, enjoy a gourmet lunch and afternoon tea on board, and learn how to craft Peru’s iconic cocktail, the Pisco Sour. Gaze out at sweeping landscapes dotted with wild llamas and alpacas in their natural habitat.

The train will stop at La Raya Pass, the highest point of the route at 4,319 meters (14,170 feet). Here, take in the majestic views and capture unforgettable photos of the dramatic scenery.

Upon arrival in Puno, a View Peru representative will meet you and escort you to your hotel, where you can unwind and enjoy a peaceful evening in this lakeside town.

Day 8: Kayaking Lake Titicaca & Cultural Immersion

Today, experience the magic of Lake Titicaca, South America’s largest and the world’s highest navigable lake.

Begin with a guided kayaking adventure from Isla Esteves, paddling across calm waters with stunning views of snow-capped Bolivian peaks and reed-lined shores. Along the way, spot native wildlife and take in the tranquil beauty of the lake.

Arrive at the floating Uros Islands, where you’ll meet the local community and learn how they’ve sustained their reed-built homes and traditions for centuries.

Continue to Taquile Island, known for its UNESCO-recognized textile art. Here, you’ll see male weavers at work and enjoy a lakefront lunch prepared by island families. Take in the peaceful rhythms of Quechua life and panoramic Andean views.

Return to Puno in the afternoon for a well-earned rest after a day of adventure and cultural discovery.
