Led by a knowledgeable English-speaking guide, enjoy a private tour through Lima. This experience will offer a fresh perspective on Peru’s dynamic capital, whose historic center has been recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1991.

Your journey begins in Lima’s colonial heart, where you’ll explore architectural treasures such as the Cathedral, the Main Square, and the hauntingly beautiful San Francisco Catacombs. As you walk through these storied landmarks, you’ll uncover the layers of history that continue to shape Peru’s national identity.

The tour then transitions to the contemporary side of the city, taking you through the elegant, seaside district of Miraflores, known for its upscale ambiance, cultural relevance, and lively atmosphere.

Your final stop is the acclaimed Larco Museum, home to one of the most comprehensive collections of pre-Columbian art in the world. After immersing yourself in Peru’s ancient past, you’ll enjoy a delicious lunch at Café Larco, where traditional flavors meet a relaxed, picturesque setting.

As night falls, be mesmerized by the magical Water Fountains at Parque de la Reserva, a dazzling display of laser-lit water and color.

Day 3: Drive To Paracas – Ballestas Islands Sealife Tour (B, L)

After breakfast at your hotel, enjoy private transfer south down the coast to Paracas. This charming seaside town is known for the marine life reserve and the Ballestas Islands.

Upon arrival in Paracas, head to the port to begin your boat tour. Along the way, you’ll pass the El Candelabro, a massive and mysterious geoglyph etched into the hillside, its origins still debated by historians and archaeologists.

Continue your journey to the islands, where you’ll encounter incredible marine wildlife, including playful sea lions, flocks of seabirds, and even Humboldt penguins in their natural habitat.

After returning to Paracas, enjoy lunch at your leisure before a private transfer to your hotel in Nazca, where your adventure continues.

Day 4: Nazca Lines Overflight (B)

Today, prepare to witness one of Peru’s most captivating mysteries, the Nazca Lines! These massive geoglyphs, etched into the desert floor over 2,000 years ago, form a vast collection of more than 800 straight lines and figures depicting animals, plants, and geometric shapes. Their scale and precision continue to baffle archaeologists and captivate travelers from around the world.

Your adventure begins as you depart Paracas and head south to Nazca, where you’ll board a light aircraft for a breathtaking aerial tour. From the sky, marvel at iconic figures like the Hummingbird, the Condor, the Astronaut, and the Spider. As you soar over the arid plains, your expert pilot and guide will share fascinating insights into the theories and cultural significance behind these ancient creations.

Following your scenic flight, travel in comfort back to Lima via private vehicle. Enjoy your final evening in the vibrant capital, reflecting on the unforgettable journey across Peru’s most iconic landscapes and cultural wonders.

Day 5: Welcome to Cusco & Transfer to the Sacred Valley (B, L)

Upon arrival in Cusco, your private guide will warmly welcome you at the airport, marking the start of your exclusive journey. You’ll travel comfortably to the Sacred Valley, known for its stunning scenery and lower altitude, making it an ideal introduction to the Andes.

Your first stop is a traditional llama and alpaca farm, where you can interact with these iconic animals, learn about their cultural significance, observe traditional weaving techniques, and take memorable photos.

Upon arrival at the train station, your private driver will meet you and transfer you back to your hotel in Cusco, where you can relax and reflect on an unforgettable day.

Day 7: Cusco Walking Tour & Market Visit (B)

Today, you will dive into the vibrant living history and culture of Cusco. Your guided tour begins at the heart of the city, the bustling Plaza de Armas, surrounded by impressive colonial buildings. From there, we’ll move on to the sacred Qoricancha, once the most important temple in the Inca Empire, dedicated to Inti, the sun god. Although the Spanish conquest stripped the temple of its lavish gold, the remaining stone walls still stand as a testament to the precision and skill of Incan engineering.

Next, we’ll delve into the vibrant daily life of Cusco at the San Pedro Market. This lively market is the perfect place to experience local culture firsthand. Wander among stalls brimming with fresh produce, exotic fruits, and traditional goods. It’s a feast for the senses, filled with colors, aromas, and sounds.

We’ll then continue our adventure to the fortress of Sacsayhuamán. Strategically positioned on a hill overlooking Cusco, this fortress is renowned for its colossal limestone blocks, carefully carved and assembled without mortar, a stunning example of Incan architectural brilliance. From here, you can enjoy panoramic views of the city below and the rugged Andean landscapes that surround it.

Day 8: Route of the Sun to Puno (B, L)

After breakfast at your hotel, you’ll be transferred to board the renowned Ruta del Sol (Route of the Sun) to Puno. This scenic and guided journey offers a deeper look into Peru’s rich history and stunning landscapes. Along the way, stop at fascinating Inca ruins, colonial-era churches, and dramatic high-altitude mountain passes that showcase the beauty of the Andes.

Midway through the journey, enjoy a delicious buffet lunch featuring regional specialties. Upon arrival in Puno, a local representative will greet you and transfer you to your comfortable lakeside hotel, where you can settle in and prepare for your Lake Titicaca adventures.

Day 9: Private Titicaca Lake Sailing Tour (B, L)

Discover the magic of Lake Titicaca, the highest navigable lake in the world, straddling the border between Peru and Bolivia and steeped in ancient legend.

From the main dock in Puno, enjoy a private boat ride across the shimmering waters of this iconic lake. According to Inca mythology, this is the sacred place where the first Inca emerged, marking the beginning of a great civilization.

Your first stop is the Uros Islands, a remarkable archipelago of over 300 floating islands, each handmade from layers of Totora reed. These islands are not only an engineering marvel but also living cultural treasures, with each one taking nearly a year to build.

Next, cruise to Taquile Island, where time seems to stand still. Known for its rich traditions and vibrant clothing, Taquile offers a glimpse into the heart of Andean life. Enjoy a locally prepared lunch made with fresh, regional ingredients, then explore the island’s trails and observe master weavers at work, preserving centuries-old textile techniques recognized by UNESCO.

As the afternoon light dances across the lake, return by boat to the port in Puno and transfer back to your hotel, full of stories and impressions from this unforgettable day on Lake Titicaca.

Day 10: Wlecome to Bolivia! (B, L)

Today, you’ll journey from Peru into Bolivia, crossing the shimmering expanse of Lake Titicaca and stepping into a land filled with captivating history and breathtaking landscapes.

Travel across the lake to Copacabana, a picturesque Bolivian town nestled on the lake’s edge. Here, you’ll visit the iconic Basilica of Our Lady of Copacabana, a revered pilgrimage site home to the miraculous Virgin of Copacabana, where faith and tradition blend beautifully.

From there, continue to Yampupata to sail on a private boat towards the Sun Island, the legendary birthplace of the first Inca.

From Copacabana, the trip continues traveling for another 3 hours across the altiplano to La Paz City.

Day 11: La Paz City City Tour (B)

After breakfast, set off to explore the fascinating city of La Paz, an eclectic mix of colors, culture, and history that earned it the title of one of the 7 Wonderful Cities of the World.

Your guided tour begins at the famed Mercado de las Brujas, or Witch Market, where local shamans source mysterious herbs, talismans, and traditional remedies used in centuries-old Andean rituals. It’s a truly unique cultural experience unlike any other.

Continue to Plaza Murillo, the political heart of the city. Admire the architecture of the Presidential Palace, the National Congress, and the striking Cathedral as you walk through streets steeped in colonial charm and historic significance.

From the historic center, venture into the modern side of La Paz, exploring the upscale residential districts of Obrajes, Calacoto, and La Florida. Then, journey to the surreal Valle de la Luna (Moon Valley), a geological wonder of wind-carved spires and eroded clay formations. This stunning, otherworldly landscape was famously named by astronaut Neil Armstrong for its resemblance to the lunar surface.

To cap off your day, ascend above the city on La Paz’s scenic cable car system for panoramic views of the high-altitude metropolis before enjoying a free afternoon at your leisure.

Day 12: Explore the Uyuni Salt Flats (B, L, D)

Today, you’ll set off on a journey to one of the most surreal and breathtaking landscapes in South America, the Uyuni Salt Flats.

Begin with a scenic flight from La Paz to the town of Uyuni, gateway to the world’s largest salt flats. Spanning over 11,000 square kilometers.

Your adventure starts at the hauntingly beautiful Train Cemetery, where rusted locomotives from Bolivia’s mining era sit abandoned in the desert. Next, stop in Colchani, a small village known for its salt crafts and local souvenirs.

As you enter the flats, head toward their northern edge for an incredible view of the majestic Tunupa Volcano, a sacred peak shrouded in legend and home to ancient mummies tucked into its slopes. From here, take a short uphill walk to a lookout point for a sweeping panorama of the salt flats and the volcano in all their glory.

Continue to the village of Coquesa, where you’ll explore a local museum featuring unique stone formations known as chantanis, rocks naturally sculpted into animal shapes by wind and time. Check in to your salt hotel for the evening.

Day 13: Explore Incahuasi Island & Return to La Paz (B, L)

Rise early to witness the breathtaking sunrise over the vast expanse of the Uyuni Salt Flats, a glowing white canvas that comes to life with the morning light. Enjoy a warm breakfast before setting off to explore some of the salt flats’ most iconic sights.

Visit the salt pyramids and the original Salt Hotel, a unique structure built entirely of salt blocks. Then venture deep into the heart of the flats to reach Incahuasi Island, a rocky oasis covered in giant cacti. Embark on a 45-minute hike to the summit, where you’ll be rewarded with panoramic views that feel otherworldly.

While this experience is crafted for the dry season, the rainy season brings a different kind of magic, turning the salt flats into a giant mirror that reflects the sky in all directions. If visiting during this time, you can opt for a nighttime walk under the stars, where the southern constellations light up the sky in a dazzling display you can only see from this part of the world.

In the afternoon, return to Uyuni for your private transfer to the airport and flight back to La Paz. Upon arrival, a View Peru host will greet you and escort you to your hotel.
