Itinerary

Day 1 Welcome To Lima (D)

Discover and live the highlights of the most incredible country in South America. Travel through different cities, each with its own charm

Airport greet by a View Peru representative. Travel by comfortable vehicle to your hotel in Lima. 

The afternoon is free to roam freely at the Gastronomic Capital. You can take in the views from Larcomar at Miraflores, or go to any of our suggested restaurants for dinner. Feel free to ask any questions, our 24/7 specialists will suggest any afternoon or evening must activities while in here.

 

Day 2 Lima City Tour - Flight To Arequipa (B, D)

Holding an extraordinary history dating from pre-Inca times to the Viceroyal and Republican remainings, Lima will amaze you at every step

Joining our resident Guide, set off from Miraflores to the hot spots at Main Plaza. You’ll wander around its streets, the Cathedral, The Government Palace, the City Council, and visit the spectacular Convent of Santo Domingo, known to officially host the first and oldest university in the Americas. The visit includes its library, the cloisters, the beautifully decorated choir, and the views from the Main Tower. Continue to Museo Larco, for endless Precolombian private collections, and follow on Cafè del Museo for sampling a delicious Lucuma mousse. Heading down to Miraflores is the Pre-Inca Huaca Pucllana, right in the middle of the most modern side of Lima. Return to your hotel to prepare for the flight to Arequipa, on a prior and comfortable vehicle to the airport.

Optional: If you rather going on a group tour, you can take the panoramic sightseeing bus instead.

Day 3 Full Day At Colca Canyon & Condor Viewpoint (B)

From the White City of Arequipa, prepare for an extraordinary Canyon adventure and otherworldly views towards the enchanting Chivay Village

Rise early this morning and take part in a striking ride to Colca Valley, as the road will lead you across an array of stunning viewpoints. In Chivay, you’ll stop for breakfast and warm up to reach Cruz del Condor, the official Colca Canyon lookout. From here, you’ll appreciate the spectacular views over which is considered the second deepest on earth; this part, in particular, includes the Condor observation flyover. Later you’ll pass by the towns of Pinchollo, Maca, and Yanque that treasure beautiful colonial churches. Additionally, you’ll take in the views from Peña Blanca from where you can admire the famous terraces on the Canyon slopes overlooking the river. Heading back to Arequipa, you’ll stop at the highest point (4,900m) to appreciate migratory birds and alpaca herds. End off with a panoramic view over Pampa Cañahuas for observation of the graceful Vicuña, which poses the finest wool on the planet.

Arrive in Arequipa at around 5:00 pm and private transfer to your hotel.

Day 4 Arequipa To Cusco (L, D)

A great change of airs and views and enter to the archaeology and history of a very impressive city with such incredible places to see

Upon your arrival at Cusco, meet our host and transfer to your hotel.

This day is free to rest from the early morning wake-ups. Cusco is sprinkled with a countless number of historical sights. Soak in in the city exploring some of them: Saqsayhuaman, the Qoricancha, or the Pre-Columbian Art Museum are some of the musts.

Day 5 Trip To Sacred Valley & Maras Salt Mines

The exceptional Sacred Valley, the longest in Cusco pulses with an incredible array of natural and cultural sights that will leave you fascinated all-day

Why is it sacred? That’s the question that will be answered today. With our Guide head Norwest to discover the first feat of engineering, Moray, a group of concentrical terrace platforms built into a prehistoric crater. Said to be an agricultural laboratory, you’ll have many lights on the theories behind it on a walk-through. Further along, lies the famous Maras Salt Mines, composed of more than 3000 small ponds reflecting the sunlight in a white spectacle. This salt is collected to produce a wide array of products from gourmet salt to even remedies. Get a taste of the different kinds of salts before you have lunch at the bottom of the Valley in Urubamba. The journey continues to the majestic ruins of the town of Ollantaytambo for a visit to The Inca complex, a military, religious and agricultural center followed by a walk through its remaining Inca houses. The place will definitely spark your curiosity as it is a fabulous setting exceptionally interesting, due to the size, originality, and detail of its structures. End off with a visit to the typical town of Pisaq, which includes an open-air market loaded with crafts, jewelry, and more. Return to Cusco in a comfortable vehicle.

Day 6 Explore Machu Picchu - Cusco (B, L)

Day 7 Cusco To Puerto Maldonado - Tambopata Lodge (B, L, D)

Holding one of the largest biological diversity on the Planet, Tambopata is the perfect Amazon experience to different animals and plants located between Tambopata and Madre de Dios rivers

As usual, follow any of our expert hosts to the Airpor for a morning flight to Puerto Maldonado. The city will be your gateway for an extraordinary experience ahead. After a meet and assist you’ll take the 40 boat ride in the direction to your lodge in the Tambopata area. Here, be welcomed with a refreshing drink, and a comfortable room overlooking the greenery of Huayruro, Aguaje, and trees.

By the afternoon, enjoy the facilities at the Lodge along with an optional jungle walk and sunset views at any of the lockouts, featuring the famous toucans and macaws in their natural habitat. By the evening and before dinner, you might want to take a nocturne safari to see the highlight caimans laying on the river banks. Return to the lodge to relax and indulge in the warm atmosphere lodge which includes full boards meals, so you don’t have to worry.

Days 8-9 Tambopata Jungle Activities (B, L, D)

Live the life of the jungle with full activities with the very beautiful and different colors; with its typical people and its typical customs

The morning in the jungle starts very early, but your effort will be rewarded as you embark on a 20 min hike to the famous Parrot Clay-lick to witness about 5 parrot species feeding themselves on Clay, definitely an amazing sight! Later in the morning, you will be back to enjoy breakfast and after that, you will have some free time to discover the beautiful gardens of your lodge. Next up is a boat trip across Madre de Dios River that will lead you to the Tambopata National Reserve to explore the deep jungle and be amazed by its wildlife. After spending some time there, move forward to Sandoval Lake a hidden spot where you will be able to observe species such as birds (Hoatzins, Kingfisher, and Cormorants), and monkeys (Squirrel monkeys, Howler monkeys, Capuchin monkeys). As the afternoon set, we will enjoy the sunset before returning back to the lodge and also we will have the chance to see some nocturnal animals. By the evening, dinner will be served and afterwards you may want to enjoy a cocktail and lay in the hammocks before embrace a well deserve night of sleep.

Day 10 Flight To Lima (B)

Day to say goodbye to this incredible country; try to join all the experiences you had without forgetting its beautiful people with their special customs and delicious food

At the most opportune time, you will be brought back to the city and driven to the airport according to your scheduled flight to Lima.
